One of Ridgewood Park's greatest assets is its families. As the older, founding residents of Ridgewood Park have moved on, many younger residents have moved in and started families. As this group of residents has grown, it has become organized in the form of a "Play Group."

The Ridgewood Park Play Group (RPPG) consists of more than 15 member families with young children (usually under 6 years). Providing activities for the whole family, the RPPG has created lasting friendships among not only the moms, but the kids and dads too. The group has organized such diverse events as monthly playgroups for moms and children, a monthly "Mom's Night Out" and a frequent happy hour for the whole family (even dads!).

As part of Ridgewood Park's welcoming packet, new residents with young children are encouraged to get involved with the Ridgewood Park Play Group.
